You will improve your concentration and thus the ability to understand and remember better than you do now. Here is a technique in a nutshell: Forcing myself to read faster, although at first you lose some meaning. Read a group of words with a flash, rather than individual words. You can absorb the sentences, “see the tree” in one glance. Scheme when it was practical. Do not feel guilty spending the words are not important.
