Most of the times we actually tend to neglect the health of our brain when we are actually over-obsessed about the fitness and health of our bodies. This is the basic reason by people actually experience lethargy and sluggishness even when they are physically healthy. This implies that you need to actually exercise your brain so that all the dormant areas of the brain are activated and you experience a surge of alertness and vitality. There are a number of brain gym games which are very helpful in exercising the brain thoroughly.

When you actually play the brain gym games on a regular basis you will experience that your mind is alert and able even in old age. You must have heard the saying; an empty mind is a devil’s workshop. Well this is completely true and you should always keep your brain occupied with some activity so that it get the much needed exercises and not just sit in the front of television for hours on end. The brain gym games are a fun way to give your brain the daily workout just like you work out in the gym for your body.

The brain gym games also help in improving the memory which tends to get unreliable with the increasing age. These being gym games are especially beneficial in improving the reasoning and cognitive skills. This will calm you down, allowing you to focus on the task at hand. Saved me when I had panic attacks. PACE stands for Positive, Active, Clear & Energetic. E. Drink water C. Brain Buttons: place one hand over the navel. With the other hand, massage the areas on either side of the sternum below the collar bone. Change hand (30 sec/hand) A. Cross Crawl: Touch hand to opposite knee and vice versa. Do this SLOWLY for approximately 2 minutes. Move shoulders and breathe. P. Hook Ups – Part1: Cross ankles. Stretch out arms, cross them and place palms together. Lace fingers and bring hands under and up to rest under chin. Close eyes, inhale through nose and place tongue on hard palette behind teeth. Drop tongue as you exhale. SLOW, STEADY breaths. Do as long as you want. Hook Ups – Part2: Uncross ankles and arms. Lightly touch fingertips together with both hands. Close eyes, inhale through nose and place tongue on hard palette behind teeth. Drop tongue as you exhale. SLOW, STEADY breaths. Do as long as you want. Slowly come back to reality and notice what your body feels.
