How do you determine the Concentration of a Base at an Endpoint of a titration?

Potassium acid phthalate (KHP) has a single hydrogen ion and a molar mass of 204.23 g/mol. Suppose .500g of KHP is titrated to the endpoint with 15.5 ml sodium hydroxide solution of unknown concentration. What is the concentration of the base?

moles of phthalate = .5 / 204.23 = 0.00245
since it has 1 replaceable H = it reacts 1 :1 with the NaOH
so moles of NaOH = 0.00245
these are in 15.5 ml so the moles in 1000 ml = .00245 x 1000 / 15.5 = .158 moles / litre
concentration of the NaOH = .158M
