There are several home vet books out there to starters. When you’re 16, you can be a vet assistant and work your way up to a licensed technician.

there are many different courses available varying from 1 to 2 years. By reading books at a young age can prepare you for the courses and give you a basic knowledge. In many cases you have to be qualified as a vet before you can specialize in one type of animal.

You could begin by volunteering to help at a local animal shelter. It’s at least a start.

See if your local vet’s office have training classes available or volunteer work that you can do. Also try playing Vet Emergeny. It is a computer game that actually teaches you skills for beoming a vet. you could also go to your local library and get vet books.
