		<description>Yeah, I breezed through high school and made excellant grades.  But in college, you HAVE to develop study skills.  Some colleges offer a freshman class to teach you how to adapt to college, study skills, test taking skills, etc.  Look for that.  If not, try forming a study group... have someone quiz you...flashcards...anything.  Just dont try to cram, because after about 1-2 hours... your mind wanders and you absorb 40% less information.  Take breaks...dont wait til the last minute.  Try to listen and learn everyday.
I have one professor who likes to do major tests over a ton of chapters.  It was hard for me trying to retain all that info... but my study skills didnt help.  Instead of trying to study a day or two before nonstop...I learned it didnt work.  Best thing to do is pay attention, try to break the chapters down...and then get quizzed by a friend.  Works well!</description>
