What are some great tips for speed reading?

I have two articles, both 30 pages long I need to work on for this weekend, on top of my other reading assignments for class. It totals to about 300 pages to read by Tuesday. Any suggestions you guys could give me for effective speed reading while also retaining some information? Thank you!

Try only skimming and reading only imprtant words. be careful though you gotto get pretty good at it first before id take a test on something i speed read
